I will use the "arrow" method which means when there are two brackets with the factors after factorisation, I expand the factorised answer or solution. If I get back to the original question, I am correct. If possible, I will try to do the checks (i.e. expansion) mentally as checks do not help us get marks but instead ensure that the answer that I have gotten is right.
I would use the "arrows" to link from one factor to another, so as to expand it out correctly without making any careless mistakes in between, and i will also doublecheck this answer that i have got, whether it matches the one given in the question.
